So!
What does everyone feel like doing for Halloween? I know, I know. I usually plan some big Halloween party thing, but who really feels like having a party lately??
I don't.
Not at all.
Ugh! I doubt we could even take some of the younger students trick or treating, which is really sucky! I know a lot of them were probably looking forward to it.
Can't even do some haunted maze or anything like that.

"Hey Kimmy! (On a side note? I really don't like Kimmy. I REALLY don't. Please don't EVER call me that. I didn't mind it in the past, but my Dad's been using it more often whenever I have these RIDICULOUS phone conversations with him. UGH.) How is everything? We're doing good, thanks for asking. (I didn't ask and I didn't answer because he didn't give me time to do either! UGH x 2!) Your Mom wants you to come home for Thanksgiving. With how things are going now with the government, it'll be good to have you home and not, well, where you are. And don't go on to say that you're old enough to make your own decisions. We know that. You always tell us that, Kimmy, but we'd really like to come home for the holidays. We miss you, you know. (YEAH RIGHT!) Your Mom's out getting some things at the store. It's so nice to be able to go out and get our shopping done and not have problems. (Now we're PROBLEMS!?) So, just keep that thought about the holidays in mind, will you? Maybe think about coming back home to live? The dance studio up the street is hiring. So is the local elementary school. Since you're registered now, you'd be able to get a job since you're not dangerous. I mean, what you can do with a purse, right? (I wish I could have put YOU in my purse FOREVER!). Well, sounds like your busy (You didn't even LET me talk the WHOLE time you rambled on!), so I'll let you go. Call us every now and then, will you? Love you, Kimmy Bear."
That was pretty much the ENTIRE conversation. SO one-sided.
I'm SO not going home for the holidays or any of that CRAP with them.
Sorry. I don't mean to go on and on because I know a lot of people are dealing with a lot of sad things right now. I just needed to get it OUT.
Aubrey -- I made you some brownies! Fred actually helped me a bit because I wanted to make them super fudgy, but not under cooked, so I hope you like them. Bobby pointed me in the direction of the SUPER STOCK, so I left them there. |

They say that, sometimes, music can really help with your mood. I have a lot of music on my iTunes playlist, and it's sort of helping. I've been writing down bits and pieces of lyrics in colored markers on pieces of paper. You know -- to help sort out feelings and thoughts if you don't feel like writing about them? It's pretty good actually! Helps me clear my head.

I have the WORST craving for popcorn. Not the kind you make in the microwave, but the kind you buy at the store already popped, salted and bagged. Oh MAN, that would be SO good right now with some juice. Maybe a good movie, too. Are there any good movies out right now? I missed all the summer movies, which really bummed me out! I never miss them! But I did. We should have a trip to the movies! We can see a good, wholesome one that promote good values and everything! I'm sure there's something out that does that. Any suggestions? Yes or No on the entire idea all together?
OH! Um -- I'm really sorry about the summer camp. I feel REALLY awful that it didn't go off the ground, but, well, things just weren't going the right way, and there were a lot of outside influences that just were NOT making my job easy, and yeah. BUT! I have some REALLY GREAT things planned for my dance class this upcoming school year, and really hope everyone enjoys it!

You know, it .. well, it's not pretty. Not at all. But if you put a band-aid over it, it's okay. I drew a smiley face on mine! Er .. the band-aid. Not over the number. That would have just been silly! And dangerous! Especially since I used a pink sharpie. I drew it on BEFORE I put it on, though.
Love notes are silly things, you know. Especially when, in the end, things just don't work out. It's okay! I appreciate the effort! And, I'm okay with it! I really am! There are worse things that can happen to people -- well, I know that, too.
I didn't do it for anyone, though. I wasn't forced to do it, either. I decided, on my own, to just do it. I guess it was my way of trying to get a head start on being made to do it, you know? I mean, we all know we're going to have to do it eventually, but I'd rather march in to a place on my own and get the registration over with. That's always the better way to handle it.

I forgot how much WORK putting together the summer camp is! I REALLY don't remember it taking so long, and so many resources last year. I've been trying to narrow down the differences between this year and last year, and I CAN'T find them! UGH. It's so frustrating, but at LEAST it's getting done, and the camp activities should begin in July. They'll run through August, and wrap up about a week or two before classes start up again. I'm really looking forward to it, and the younger students we have here were really excited about it, too! I still have all my macaroni necklaces and art sitting in my room that I got last year.
I HEARD that Aubrey is putting together a trip to Six Flags!!! EXCITEMENT! I'm totally game to go! Is that okay? I can go, yeah? I love amusement parks!! I always wanted to go to Disney World, though. I've NEVER been! How awful is that?? I mean, I know there's probably A LOT of kids who have never been, but I'm not a kid! I really want to go! Maybe we can do a big summer trip next year and go! That would be all kinds of fun, I think!
UM! What else -- OH! I voted! I did. I know people are kind of antsy about the election results, but I think it will be A-OKAY! I mean, it's better to try and stay optistmic with it, you know?? If you THINK the worst of things, then the bad stuff will happen. That's how I look at things anyway.
WARREN WORTHINGTON! I know you said that I COULD NOT help with your gala, but I did anyway, and dropped off some contacts and resources to your office to help assist with decorations, flowers...etc. I had some REALLY good contacts from when I put together MJ and Peter's wedding, so feel free to use them! And the place I got the decorations for prom didn't ONLY specialize in prom. It did all sorts of formal events and special ocassions. I hope everything helps!

As an addition to the exciting prom announcement, I have the THEME!
Yes! There's a theme! I was really thinking about it, and decided that we needed something fun!
The theme for this year's prom will be FAIRY TALES! That means -- COSTUMES!!
And, yes. Disney princesses are definitely included! |

I'm sure you've all been anxiously awaiting this announcement, so I won't leave you hanging any longer!
The End of Year prom! Yes, I know it's usually the senior prom, BUT I think we all need some sort of celebration of sorts after everything that's happened, right? Right! Of course we do! Mark your calendars! It'll be on Friday, May 30 beginning at 8:00 pm!
So, we are having the End of Year prom, and I promise it will be lots of fun! Semi-formal attire is required, so don't worry guys! You don't have to wear a tux, and girls? You don't have to wear gowns. Cocktail dresses are a-okay, but if you want to wear a gown? Go for it!
That said? I will need chaperons! Not a lot, but a few! Don't be shy now! |

I can't believe it's already been a week. I feel like it was just yesterday that the ceremony happened! It was so nice. I'll be sending pictures to everyone soon. I got to preview the ones that were taken with the digital cameras, and they look amazing! MJ, I can't wait until you see the ones I took of you, Peter, and May! You looked so beautiful!
I slept for nearly two days after all was said and done. I NEEDED to. I was absolutely exhausted, but it was a GOOD exhaustion! I'd totally do it again in a heart beat!
And speaking of heart beats -- I found the SWEETEST note on my door with a rose! I LOVE roses! And, eee! The note! How so incredibly sweet! |

So, I've TOTALLY made a game out of the dating profiles on XTO. Every time I'm fairly sure I'm right about which profile belongs to which person, I eat a miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. I still have A LOT left, of course, but it's fun! And, well, there's not really any right or wrong answer since no one's playing AGAINST me, but I'm still super disciplined that if I guess a name and it really isn't right (uh .. some of them are SO obvious), I don't eat one! This .. is probably why I have a TON left over. Hmm...I think I need some new rules OR I need someone to play against!
UGH. UGH. UGH. I thought planning school-wide events was hard. UH. No. Planning a wedding is EXTREMELY hard. Don't ask me how such a thing can be difficult, because it just IS. But it will be amazing! I hope anyway! OHMYGOD! Next week! AHH!
